Ry's Trip to Texas

A couple of weekends ago, Ryan went to Texas to hang out with his brother who lives there. He also spent some time with our sister-in-law Stacie, and our cute neice and nephew, Courtney and Zack. Sadly enough, I didn't go. Plane tickets are just so expensive and I thought it'd be fun to give the brothers some time to hang out without me following them everywhere. I miss them so much though, and am so excited to see them this week! Ry said he had an awesome time in Texas. He went swimming at their neighborhood pool . . .
. . . made best buddies with cute little Court
. . . and had hot dogs, nachos, and dippin' dots at the baseball game.

I didn't do much at home. Just went to Bear Lake for a few days and celebrated my neice, Amiya's Birthday which was actually the same day as Zacks! And believe it or not, they both turned 4! So, that was fun for me while Ryan was gone. Then on Monday night, all my sisters and their kids came up to my place and spent the night. It was quite an experience but lots of fun!

Bloomington and 4th

This last week has been quite busy. We were away from home almost a full week. We stayed in Bear Lake most of the week and over the 4th. Then we had to drive to SLC for the rodeo Friday, then back to Bear Lake Saturday for my nephews babtism then back to SLC Sunday for TJ's birthday, then back to Logan Sunday night. Yeah, it was a lot of driving and Ryan and I are happy to just be taking it easy this week. However tiring our week was, it was really fun. We went boating, to the beach, and to Ryan's new favorite spot- Bloomington Lake. It is a really pretty place where you can swim, cliff jump, rope swing, fish, kayak and camp. So, here are some pics of our fun week and our new favorite place Bloomington Lake. ...........Ty, Whitney, my brother Tanner, me and Ryan..........

We went to Bear Lake for the 4th. Almost everyone in my family was there- so it was pretty fun. Ryan went golfing while the girls hung out at my sister Terra's and the cabin. That night we went out on the lake and watched Ideal Beach/Sweetwater's fireworks from the boat.

Everyone on the boat after the firework show.

CATCHING UP...

MOST OF YOU POST PICTURES OF YOUR CHILDREN AND HOW MUCH FUN THEY ARE HAVING THIS SUMMER. UNFORTUNATELY, WE DON'T HAVE ANY KIDS YET. HERE'S A PICTURE OF "MILLY", THE CLOSEST THING WE HAVE TO A KID. TORI'S PRIDE AND JOY.

NOT REALLY, RYAN'S JUST JEALOUS THAT HE DOESN'T GET ALL THE ATTENTION - TORI

TORI AND I LOVE TO TRAVEL. BEING THAT SUMMER IS GOING BY SO FAST, WE THOUGHT WE WOULD POST A FEW PICTURE OF PLACES WE HAVE BEEN AND PEOPLE WE HAVE SEEN.

TORI MADE ME FEEL A LITTLE EMBARRASSED OF THIS PICTURE.... BECAUSE AS YOU CAN SEE IN MY FACE- I LOOK LIKE A LITTLE KID ON CHRISTMAS MORNING BECAUSE I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS FISH. THIS IS AT HYRUM RESERVOIR, CLOSE TO LOGAN. THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE "FISHING SPOT".

FOR ALL OF THOSE THAT KNOW TORI, YOU KNOW THAT SHE LOVES TO SHOP. SO WITHOUT HESITATION, WHEN HER SISTERS MENTIONED GIRLS TRIP, SHE WAS ALL FOR IT. HERE THEY ARE IN THE BELLAGIO. I HAVE TO COMMENT... MY DAD AND I HAD A BET ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY SHE WOULD COME HOME WITH.... AND I HAVE TO SAY, IT WAS LESS THAN $20.

FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT RECOGNIZE THIS PLACE, IT IS SILVER LAKE UP BY BRIGHTON. THE FIRST FEW (NOT SO GOOD) WEEKS AFTER MY DAD HAD SURGERY, WE WERE ABLE TO GET HIM OUT TO TAKE A WALK AROUND SILVER LAKE. WE ARE GLAD YOUR BACK DAD AND FEELING BETTER. WE LOVE YOU.

AS YOU CAN SEE, WE CAUGHT "CAPTAIN JACK" IN THE ALADDIN IN LAS VEGAS. TORI HAD BUTTERFLIES IN HER STOMACH FOR ABOUT TWO HOURS AFTER SHE SAW HIM. 'CAUSE SHE WAS SO EXCITED WE WERE ABLE TO SNAP OFF THIS PICTURE. IT COULDN'T HAVE MADE HER MORE HAPPY.

FEELING LEFT OUT.....

WE HAVE MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY THAT BLOG, AND EVEN THOUGH WE DON'T HAVE KIDS YET, WE WERE FEELING A LITTLE LEFT OUT. SO HERE WE ARE, LET OUR BLOGGIN DAYS BEGIN. WE ALSO FEEL THAT THIS WILL BE A GOOD SOURCE OF COMMUNICATION, ESPECIALLY NOW THAT WE'VE MOVED TO LOGAN. THIS WILL HELP US KEEP IN TOUCH.
