So, as you know, I'm 7 months along and am getting closer to my due date. Right now, every weekend from now until I'm due is booked. I not only have my showers, but I have two friends getting married this summer and their showers and birthing classes and vacations etc. And I can't really figure out a time to go and register. Since we both live in Bear Lake and work full time, and the closest city we have is Logan which doesn't have either Babies R Us or Target. So, I've been doing some of my registry online and making sure I only register for things you can find in the stores. But for some reason I am really struggling with finding a good stroller and car seat travel system. I find it really helpful to go off of other customers reviews but I can always find something good and bad about every one, and I just don't know which brand is the safest, and best price for the quality. So, I thought I'd ask all you ladies that are already moms and know what to look for in a stroller/car seat. Here are some that I am debating about . . . 2 are from Babies R Us and 2 are from Target, yet they are all different brands.

So, do I go with the cheaper one, even though it didn't get as many stars? Or do I go with the more expensive one with more stars? Do any of you mothers have any of these brands? What do you think? Are these prices pretty reasonable? I just have no idea. I really just need to go to the store and see them and feel them, but I'd like to get all your advice ahead of time. So, give me your opinions and let me know what you think! Thanks!

Oh that is so exciting! Well I am not a Mom yet but I work with two pregnant girls and they both got the Baby Trend Travel System (The green and Grey one.)I think it is really cute too. But I am really no help cause I don't have any personal advice. :)

We have the Chicco system and I love it! It is super easy to use and is super safe and cute. It comes in a bunch of colors to. I am sure they are all great but I can tell you from experience that we really love ours :)
Tor...we took the cheapest route of all and only got a carseat instead of a travel system. Then for our stroller, we got the baby trend snap n' go from babies r us. Honestly, it was the perfect decision for us because it saved us alot of money and I loved the stroller because it was super lightweight and I could open it and fold it back up with one hand. Also, it fit really easily into the trunk of our civic. I know it's not as cute as all the others, but if you get a really cute carseat, then the stroller will look cute too!

I am so impressed with your concern about your travel system! I honestly found the one I thought was cutest and registered for it. Sad, but true.
I have the Graco travel system and have liked it but it is pretty heavy. I honestly wish I would have gone with Haley's system and got the snap n' go! I almost cursed every time I tried pulling my stroller out of my trunk and trying to put it back in! It was so hard and heavy. Although once I got it out it was really easy to put up and take back down I just dreaded putting it in and out of the car. But I know your Accord's trunk is bigger than ours so maybe you wouldn't have any problems. Anyways thats my opinion on things, good luck with your choice!

Depending on your budget, I'd go with the Graco carseat. Its has been rated top in safety for years now, and in my opinion, that's what matters most! Plus, if you buy yourselves something nice and durable, you can use it on future little Goodrich babies!
Also, travel systems are nice and stylish and what-not, but if you decide to splurge on a nice and safe car seat, you can go with a cheaper stroller to off set the cost.
Whatever... this is just my dumb opinion, sorry to carry on so long!
Ok here's the advice someone gave me and I LOVED it. I was told to get a light weight stroller, something easy to haul in and out of the trunk. So I went with the peg perego aria stroller and car seat combo. A little more pricey but I LOVE it. Totally light and it comes in cute colors. Another light weight one is the combi and also maclaren (super expensive) Most gracos I've seen are gigantic, but I hear their car seats are really safe. I went to stores and asked the workers and tried them out. Anyway, I hope this helps...make sure you get one you LOVE!
Hey Tori. I have the Graco (the brown and green one) and I have LOVED it. But Kim has the chicco (hers is tan and orange) and she has loved it too. One nice thing about the Graco that the chicco didn't have is the seat belt holder thing. So instead of buying two bases (the thing that the car seat snaps into in the car) you can have a base in one car and just wrap a seat belt around the car seat in the other car. Acutally I think Kim said hers had the seat belt slits, but they were under the fabric and hard to get to. I do know that the Graco car seat is bigger than the Chicco - and the Graco stroller is bigger too. I say either one is A GREAT CHOICE!
Hey Tori, You are so right, It's so hard picking out car seats and strollers because there are pros and cons to each one. I will say that I have loved my Chicco car seat and stroller. The stroller is really easy to use and really light weight. I know Graco is a great brand as well. I know you don't have a lot of time, but you should just try and go to Babies R Us and push them around and that way you can get a feel and see the size etc. Good Luck.

I have gone through stroller after stroller after stroller!! I LOVE GRACO. My sister in law had the auroa one and then gave them to the DI cause they weren't very good!! I have never tried the one kim has but I heard good things about it! The only thing negative I have heard about CHICCO is that there carseats are really small. But I am not sure on that one!! Sorry.
