New Pooch

Well, as some of you know by now, I got a new poochers for Valentine's. I had no idea! We drove down to SLC Thursday night to go to dinner with Ryan's fam and he had this cute little poochers waiting for me. I was so excited! I know, everyone thinks we're so stupid for getting a puppy before we have a baby but, I've always grown up with a dog and I loved it. I just want my kids to have the same puppy/dog experience I did. Ryan and I both love dogs and as most of you know, we attempted one last year around this time, but it was just too hard working an hour away from home and not being home with it and the dog was just a spaz anyway, so we got rid of it. However, the circumstances are a little better with this one. We will be working about one minute away from home so we can go home and check on him and let him out when we need to. And I'll be home all day with him in the next few months anyway. It will be nice to have Chief there to keep me and the babes company. I also feel more safe with a dog around if Ryan ever leaves town for the weekend. (not that I have a whole lot to worry about in Bear Lake)

So here he is, our new little puppy named Chief. (after the Kansas City Chiefs of course) So far he's been a great dog and we're hoping he'll stay that way.
