So, as you know I have something going on pretty much every weekend 'til my due date. Well, 99% of those things are going on outside of Bear Lake, so we have been traveling a lot lately. Whether it's just the 2 hour drive to Salt Lake, or the 10 hour drive to California and- if your husband is anything like mine, he prefers to drive. I offer all the time, but it's hard for Ryan to hand over the wheel when I'm usually asleep in the passenger seat for the majority of the time. So, this last weekend I had a birthday and my friend's bridal tea party to attend to and Ryan wanted to take a break from driving for at least one weekend. So, we hung out here with my parents Thursday and Friday night, and I woke up Saturday and headed to Salt Lake for my plans. My friend Lisa is getting married July 30th which I feel bad I won't be attending, can you guess why? Well, I'll either be over due, in labor, or still in the hospital with a brand new baby. So, I have been trying to attend all events congratulating my dear friend Lisa, like her shower and bridal tea. We got together at the Salt Lake Country Club with some of her family and friends to celebrate Lisa and Oliver's engagement.
Then I headed up to Heber for my niece Chloe's Birthday Party. Tawnya invited everyone for a little BBQ to celebrate Chloe's 2-year birthday. There was a lot of yummy food and it was fun seeing everyone. Weird to think there will be 3 more members added to our family of 25 next year at this time! After cake, ice cream and opening presents people started leaving and I started my trek back home... that 2 hour drive sure seems a lot longer when you're by yourself and awake.

So, it was a fun Saturday for me- maybe not so much for Ryan who stayed home and mowed lawns. Yes, he's all concerned. Now that we have a little one on the way, and I'm going to quit working, he's a little worried that one income won't be enough. So, he's found himself a second job of mowing lawns for the summer people who come up here. So far it's going pretty good, he has hired one employee, my nephew Hunter. But I think he needs more- if you know anyone who may be interested. Sunday we had a little surprise visit from Ryan's parents. We cooked them up a nice little dinner and enjoyed the rest of our Sunday with them. (and TJ and Chewy of course) So pretty busy weekend, and they only seem to be getting more busy, but that's okay- makes the time go by fast. I just can't wait 'til we have this baby- then maybe we'll have more visitors besides mine and Ryan's parents... just maybe.

Looks like a fun weekend! It is getting really close! Hunter loves mowing with Ry! A little bonding.. EH?
Girl you need to slow down...your too busy!! I just hope Kelly and I can make it into your busy schedule sometime because I miss you guys! Dinner Club anytime soon?? Count us in for being one of your visitors. You'll have to let us know when is a good time to come to Bear Lake and see the cute baby! I'm absolutely excited. You guys are going to be the cutest parents! Good luck and take time for yourself...especially sleep. I've heard sleep is hard to get when you have a baby! Love ya!
i don't know about your shower... when and where is it... cuz i'd love to be there... not to invite myself or anything. lol
Well, if you don't mind the traveling from Bear Lake, and you two stay out in that area for a while, I would love to live nearby!! Remember all our old plans of living by each other and having our kids grow up together? The country would be the perfect place! Picnics, fourwheeling, big yards, dogs, that's the life. I love you!
