2 months

I was told by a lot of people to "enjoy life without kids, because once you have them life isn't the same". I keep waiting to feel like "I should have waited longer" or give that same warning to others, but the only thing I ever think is "I can't believe what I've been missing out on!"

I love waking up every morning and seeing Sara's big smile when she sees me. I love to hold her and kiss her and sleep with her when I can. She really is the light of my life and I love being a Mom more than anything. She had her 2 month appointment yesterday to get some shots :( I felt so bad- she was dead asleep. So when the nurse came in Ryan asked if there was any way she could give her the shots without waking her up. lol (he was kidding of course)The nurse looked at us with the most shocked look on her face. Sara actually did pretty good, only cried for a second.She weighs 10 lbs 15 oz and is 22 1/2 inches long. She's in the 50% for everything but her head, she was in the 70th percent for that. Poor girl got her daddy's noggin. That's okay though, she's still the cutest girl ever!It took a while for us to determine what color eyes Sara was going to have. Especially because Ryan has brown and I have hazel we were waiting to see some other color besides blue, but we never did. Her eyes are definitely blue and so pretty. She really recognizes her Mom and Dad because she gets the biggest smile anytime she sees our faces- that is... until we get the camera out, then her smile disappears and she just stares at the camera like "what is that?"

She loves Baby Einstein. I know it says on the box to have them start watching at 3 months but she always loves to watch TV so I thought I'd try out the Einstein DVDs. Sara loves the water! She loves to take baths or to even just hear running water, so I thought I'd get her the "discovering water" dvd even though it says for 6-9 months, and she actually likes that one more than the 3-6 month one. She seriously watches the whole thing through without fussing once, she doesn't take her eyes off the TV. She's never made it all the way through the other one yet.

So, that's our little update on Sara. We are seriously so blessed to have her in our lives and we love her so much! For those of you who don't have kids- you're missing out ;)
