So, for the 24th my Dad planned a camping trip with the whole fam to Cottonwood Creek. A pretty little camping area in Wyoming, as you can see...
There was this pretty little lake that we could kayak, canoe, fish and rope swing in. It really was so awesome.
Sara was actually a pretty good girl, most of the time. As long as we left her alone and let her do her thing she was just fine. So, that's exactly what we did and she wasn't afraid to get down and dirty.
Ryan was pretty much the only fisherman there, so he had a couple buddies wanting to go all the time. He didn't care though, as long as they caught something- which they did!
The neices and nephews all had a good time too. Luckily there were no incidents like Bailey falling in a cactus, even though she did have a little breakdown about a baby bird. Poor thing! This is only eight of the fourteen grandkids, I'm sure the older boys were off with Ry fishing and two of the grandkids couldn't make it.
And below is a pic of whole clan. Keep in mind this is just my immediate family and their kids. It's growing quite large! Unfortunately everyone couldn't make it, we're missing Ty and Whitney's fam, but they had a trip with Whitney's family.
So it was one fun trip! There really isn't anything like camping. I'm so glad I married someone who loves the outdoors as much as I do, and I'm pretty sure we have a daughter who feels the same.
Even though she was a little pooped when all was said and done...
Thanks Dad for planning such a fun trip! Can't wait 'til next year's summer vacation :)
