Need an Update

So... it looks like I am in much need of an update, and since Ryan and I haven't necessarily been doing anything too exciting, we do have some exciting news! We bought a house! Well, made an offer that was accepted and so we're still waiting to close- so we don't actually own it yet, but we will! Middle of October and I am absolutely ecstatic! This is our new home :) So, some of you may know we actually had an offer in on another house that was also accepted that we were planning on closing on the end of September, but- long story short, we had to put it on hold and while it was on hold they got a higher offer that they accepted and we were out of luck. I was really really upset about it just because trying to find a house that both Ryan and I agree on is near impossible, so when the one we did find didn't work out I thought it was going to be forever 'til we found another one. (and time is running out!) So, the day I found out we lost the house (which was last Monday) I got online and started searching for new ones. We had tried offering on a short sale and that was just a mess, so even though there were a lot of cute ones, I refused to even look at them and/or get my hopes up. So, I found a few, made a list for Ry and he said he'd look at 2 out of the few I found. So, we made some appointments and I was planning to drive up to Layton on Tuesday to look at them. Tuesday morning came and I thought I'd jump on the MLS one more time just to make sure I didn't miss anything. That's when I found this house, it wasn't even listed the day before. I instantly got a good/exciting feel about it so I hurried and e-mailed it to Ryan asking what he thought. And he responded by saying "He Loved It!" And got on the phone right after that to talk to the owner about walking through it. I drove up to Layton, we didn't even bother looking at the other two houses, we just walked through this one, loved it, made an offer- which actually kind of battled back and forth a couple days and got it accepted on Friday! I really was so excited I started packing boxes the day I found out. I mean we've bought a condo before, but this is our first actual house! Now don't get me wrong, it's been nice living for free for a while- but I must admit, I miss having a bath tub especially with a one year old, a dishwasher especially with bottles/sippies, a garage for our cars and all of our extra stuff, an air conditioner in the summer when I'm pregnant, and a backyard that is our own so we can let Chief run free instead of being hooked to a 2 foot chain, but all in all it has been an awesome place to live 'til we found a place of our own. Really, not a bad little home at all! I just think it'd be a lot easier living here without kids and a dog. So thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Good for letting us crash for this long, but now we're ready to live in a place of our own! I really can't wait! (if you can't tell)

Oh, then I also just wanted to see if anyone is looking for a new computer. Ryan and I are selling our desktop because we seriously never use it. We bought a laptop and that's all we use now, we've used the desktop a couple times for work stuff but that's it! It's a 22" Acer Desktop Computer that we're trying to sell for $450 on KSL but we are willing to negotiate a little. So if you or anyone you know needs a new computer, please let us know!
