I think Bear Lake is Sara's new favorite place. She is always talking aboug going there. The other day we asked her about it and this was her reply "Bear Lake? Mimi's Cabet (cabin) Pop's boat? And Fire and Miya and Kasin?" She was having a rough night the other night when it was bed time and she usually cries for Mommy or Daddy but instead she was crying for "Bear Lake! Mimi's Cabet! Pop's Boat! Hunter!" LoL it was pretty funny. We're actually going today for Raspberry days and she's been marching around the house with her fist in the air chanting "Bear Lake! Bear Lake! Bear Lake!" It really is so cute how much she loves it.
This is a picture of Sara on her actual Birthday on our way to breakfast. As you can tell by her face she was thinking she's pretty cool 'cause she didn't have to be buckled. I know, we're bad- but that's one nice thing about Bear Lake, the chances of getting in a car accident are slim to none. If any of you have ever been in Bear Lake you know it's one of the coldest lakes in Utah. Which is why I was so surprised when Della was loving it!! I thought this was the cutest video of her laughing so hard when she was playing in the water! She liked it so much we thought she'd like to get all the way in and sure enough, she loved it!
The next day was the 24th and we started it off with the Laketown breakfast, then enjoyed the parade! All the kids grabbed their bags or big gulp cups and went to catch some candy. I thought this was cute of Sara and Gwen holding hands waiting for the parade.
Della just sat on the sidelines playing with some toys on a blanket on the grass.
Then this is a picture of all the kids with their candy after the parade.
After the parade and some lunch we all packed up to go to the beach. I couldn't believe how much these two loved it. We really need to go more!
After the beach we went back and that's when we had a little birthday celebration for Amiya and Sara. Then Ryan and Sara went to Marc's softball game while I layed Della down. Now every game we go to, Sara thinks she needs to cheer for Marc and is always yelling "Go Marc!" We also had a fire one of the nights and roasted some marshmallows.
After the celebration we finished off the night with some sparklers and fireworks. Sara wasn't quite sure what to think at first but got used to it after a minu
te.
It's kind of fun how Sara gets fireworks every year for her birthday- and this year Della will get a big feast! Gotta love the holiday babies, hopefully we can keep up the tradition ;)
