Cathie and I hit up Gardner Village to get some lunch at Archibald's and buy our Halloween t-shirt. I tried so hard to get a picture of the girls but it was dang near impossible! You should have seen me and Cathie pulling faces, yelling their names and saying some of the most ridiculous stuff to get both of them to look. Everyone passing us were laughing 'cause these two would not look! Out of about 40 shots of this same pose, this was the best I got...
The next night was our ward Trunk or Treat Halloween party. I got Sara all dressed up so I could get a few pictures of her before in her cute witch costume. It took a lot of convincing to get her to be a witch. She wanted to be a monster so bad, but I didn't have a monster costume and didn't really want her to be a monster anyway. So we finally talked her into being a witch. But she didn't want to be a cute witch, she wanted to be a scary witch! Even though she thought she was scary, I sure thought she was cute!
I wanted to get a picture of the girls together. But I guess after my Gardner Village experience I just didn't think it was worth it. So, here's Della the Spider marching around the Trunk or Treat like she owned the place.
It was really fun taking Sara Trick or Treating to all the different trunks. Much easier way to introduce her to it, and the weather was way nicer Friday than it was Saturday.
Then Saturday morning was Ryan's Halloween Half Marathon in Provo. Runners could dress up if they wanted to, so Ryan's buddy was Napoleon and Ryan was Pedro, it was really funny. The costume didn't last long though. Too hot to run in.
Here are the runners Superwoman (Lee), Pedro (Ryan) and Napoleon (Kyle.
The girls and I were waiting at the finish line, as usual! Ryan came across at 1:53. Both girls were very excited to see him.
After the marathon we had TJ's football game to go to. Then had to go get ready for the Goodrich Halloween party that night. Everyone is supposed to dress up then we all vote for the best costume and the winner gets a prize. Here are a Witch, Frankenstein, Vampire, and a Spider.
Now of course there were more costumes at the party like the grim reaper, a penguin, a mouse, a hippie, a mexican, Harry Potter, a Buckeye, Snow White, and Minnie Mouse. But out of all of the costumes guess who won best costume... Ryan as Frankenstein! I swear he always wins everything!
Here's Frank helping our little witch carve her first pumpkin. She thought she had it after a while and tried doing it herself.
