two weekends in vegas

So I've spent my last two weekends in Las Vegas and I must say, it has been so nice getting a little taste of sun! The first weekend I went down with my little family of four and stayed with my in-laws at Dustin and Stacie's house. Ryan and his brother signed up for a half marathon so we wanted to be there to support them.This was Dustin's first half marathon and let's just say- he rocked! Ryan finished at 1:54:54 just 50 seconds after Dustin who crossed the finish line at 1:54:04. I told them it would have been cool if they'd crossed together! Poor Ryan had to run his first half marathon of the year after a night of no sleep. No, really- we literally got like 2-3 hours of sleep thanks to this little girl...(Della playing dress up for the first time and absolutely loving it! Even though it looks like a crabby face, she is in fact smiling- or saying "cheese")

I don't know WHAT her deal was, but she could not sleep all night, and we were all sharing a room together, so... yeah- we were up pretty much the whole night. Way fun.

Last weekend my sisters planned a girls trip to Vegas, and it was SO fun! We used to do it every year during spring break but, it kind of got put aside because it was so hard to find a date where someone wasn't having a baby, or nursing, or whatever. The last one we went on was over 3 years ago! So it was so much fun to finally be able to get together to do it again.(Terra, Tawnya, me, Mom and Whitney at the Ceasers Palace Aquarium. Teneil and Brenna couldn't get off work...maybe next time!)

These last two weekends really were a blast! But I think I probably won't be down for a while now.
