Our Easter

Is it just me, or are holidays much more fun and exciting when you have kids. At least that's how I feel about holidays at our house. I really do get the biggest kick out of watching my girls color eggs for the first time, and watching them run around trying to find them. Then it might sound sick but I was actually excited to hide their baskets and couldn't wait for them to find them in the morning.

We started our Easter weekend on Saturday with an Easter party at Grammy and Papa Good's house. They always do an Easter egg hunt in their backyard and each grandkid gets their own little Easter bucket filled with goodies. The kids love it!That night our little family colored Easter eggs. Sara thought it was so cool that each egg had a name on it. We did one for Dad, Mom, Sara, Della and even one for Lia. She really loved coloring each egg and grew a little attachment to the one with her name on it. The next morning she was so excited to find the eggs and see what the Easter bunny brought her. Since they were given their Easter outfits a little early for their Easter pictures, the Easter Bunny thought it'd be fun to get them matching swimming suits and swim suit cover ups. Sara also got some arm bands and chalk and Della got bubbles. They were pretty excited! The rest of the day was spent going to church and visiting family. I must say it turned out to be another successful holiday for the Goodrich family. And they're only going to get more fun once Lia joins our family.
