fun summer days (and nights)

Isn't summer so much fun? I just love being able to go outside without a jacket or coat, setting up the pool for my girls to play in, making a fire to roast some hot dogs, or just sitting outside to soak up some rays. We love summer!
On the first day of summer we got together with Ryan's family to make these sweet tie dye shirts. It was our first time, so we were all kind of clueless, but I thought they turned out kind of cute! Ryan got work off for his birthday and we celebrated by going to the Roy Aquatic center. It was our first time and it turned out to be a really fun pool. They have two fun water slides, and Sara and Della loved going down this one with us! We've also gone up the canyon a couple times for a fire, some dinner and some s'mores!

Ryan is always thinking of fun ideas to do with the girls this summer. Besides, going to the pool and going up the canyon he thought it'd be fun to set up the tent in the backyard and have a sleepover outside. So he invited TJ, and they all snuggled up in the tent to watch a movie and sleep out.It's always fun setting up our little pool in our backyard, but Grammy Good thought it'd be fun to throw a little pool party at her house and set up her pool that's much bigger.These two were lovin' it. We set up the slip n slide and did the sprinkler under the tramp. They weren't too sure exactly how to slide but they tried...

Even Lia made an appearance in her new swim suit. So cute!

Summer has been a blast so far. Love that we're able to enjoy all these fun these for a couple months out of the year. Even though fall is my favorite season, let's hope it doesn't come too soon this year.
