Moab 1/2 Marathon

Ry just about to cross the finish line.

Well, Ryan had his first half marathon of 2012 a couple weekends ago, and we were lucky enough to go and make a weekend out of it with some family and friends.

The first night we got to Moab we made some spaghetti so the guys could load up on some carbs before the race, then pretty much just played the newly discovered smart phone game "draw something" for the rest of the night.

The next morning the guys got up and left early for the race and we got the kids fed and ready to go watch them finish.

Sara always gets excited to see dad cross, but since we never know exactly when he'll get there, she usually ends up missing him.

Ty came across the finish line first at 1:58, then Ryan at 2:08, then Kelly just shortly after at 2:15.

I think they all did pretty dang good for how windy it was!

Afterwards we went back to the townhome, ate some lunch and Kelly and our family got in the hot tub for a bit. Then the girls went and got pizza and brought it back to eat before we finished the night with some more "draw something" and a movie. It's always fun to be able to go a support Ry in his races and I love it when he has friends and/or family run it with him, always seems to make it more fun. Good job boys!!
